About this Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional to join our small, ambitious, and driven digital agency based in Wokingham.
This role will report to the Managing Director and will lead the development of business through the acquisition of new clients and increasing business from existing clients.
You will be confident, full of positive energy, and posses an entrepreneurial spirit and able to relate to our customers. You will use your skills and experience to pursue prospective business opportunities and sell our services.
The role will combine:
The successful candidate will grow the business through development of new and existing clients relationships and your key focus will be to identify, pitch and convert opportunities into business.
New Business Development
Growing our client base by identifying and approaching new prospective business opportunities, across a variety of industries.
Develop relationships with partner agencies and any other potential new income streams.
You will record new client opportunities within our CRM and will manage all steps in the client development process and use the CRM to develop digital engagement campaigns using social media alongside targeted more traditional calling and mailshot – led campaigns.
We expect you to formulate new sector development initiatives as well as seeking out new opportunities within our existing sectors.
Client Account Development
Assisting our Director to grow business in our existing client base, you will generate selling opportunities by applying good account management principles and by liaising with customer contacts on existing campaigns.
Your task will be to build and constantly enhance long-term productive client relationships with existing SiteBites clients.
This will also involve working with our Digital Marketer to build innovative client engagement communications and actions.
We’re looking for:
Ideally we are looking for someone who has 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. You will need to be able to demonstrate an energetic approach to new business development and you’ll need to be able to show how you have previously built and maintained long-term relationships
You should posses a good commercial awareness of the impact of marketing on businesses, and sound digital marketing know how and/or web agency experience. You need to have the personality, experience, gravitas, and confidence to become a trusted advisor, rather than a pure salesperson.
We are not just a website-production house, we are a trusted partner to our clients, adding demonstrable value to their businesses through their projects and campaigns, and the support we provide. Your approach to sales and relationship development will reflect this approach, not commoditised selling.
You will be expected to both work on your own and with the support of the whole team, and in the first 3 to 6 months the Director will heavily support you whilst you learn about the company, our systems, processes, and services.
Your efforts will be rewarded by way of a very good basic salary of up to £40k, excellent OTE of £60k and appealing and uncapped results driven commission structure.
